Pas De Restes
The Spauldings, out for a rare dinner together, realize it’s in poor taste to bite off more than they can chew.
Director Johnny Ray Gill asked for a classy elegant look in which to frame the stomach turning comedy that transpires. I helped accomplish this by taking advantage of what the locations offered and using minimal lighting to add a little gloss. Simple blocking punctuated by calculated and specific camera moves rounded out the effect. Pas De Restes is currently enjoying a successful festival run.
